Sandy began a job as an eiementary school counselor and was
eager to help. One day during recess she noticed a girl standing
by herself on one side of a playing field while the rest of the
kids enjoyed a game of soccer at the other. Sandy approached and
asked if she was all right. The girl said she was.
A little while later, however, Sandy noticed the girl was in
the same spot, still by herself. Approaching a gain, Sandy
offered, "Would you like me to be your friend？" The girl hesi
tated, then said, "Okay," looking at the woman suspiciously.
Feeling she was making progress, Sandy then asked, " Why are
you standing here all alone？" "Because I'm the goalie," the
littlegirl said.
桑迪刚开始她作为小学顾问老师的新工作，她很渴望去帮助那些孩子。
一天在课间休息时，她注意到一个女孩子独自一人站在球场的一边，而其他
的小孩都兴高采烈地在另一边踢足球。桑迪走近了小女孩，询问她是不是还

又过了一小会儿，桑迪看到小女孩还是一个人站在原处。桑迪就又走了
过去，主动说：“你愿不愿意跟我交朋友啊？”小女孩怀疑地看了看这个女
人，犹豫了一下说：“好吧。”
感觉到女孩有进步，桑迪就问道：“你为什么一个人独自站在这里呢？
”
“因为我是守门员。”小女孩回答说。
